SUN is a sweet, citrus, sunny yellow, like a lemon tart and named after the Friedman Memorial Airport: the gateway to Sun Valley, a skiing dream of steep, towering mountains, huddled together to form a secret snowy and sunny getaway; surrounded by vast isolated valleys and mountain ranges. The airport is located 13 miles south of Sun Valley, Idaho (USA) and one nautical mile (2 km) southeast from central Hailey (Wikipedia). Sun valley is famous for skiing and popular among the rich and famous, since the writer, Ernest Hemingway was a regular visitor in the 1930’s.
LOU is a tantalising cool, almost metallic blue, standing for Louisville International Airport, a public and military use airport centrally located in the city of Louisville in Jefferson County, Kentucky, USA.
