It was quiet refreshing when Julie came to our office to talk about some ideas she had for a collaboration with the Bullet magazine and Uslu Airlines. And of course at the end we are happy to present you some refreshing news! Have a closer look:

Uslu Airlines, a Berlin based luxury cosmetics brand, boasts a collection of over 200 outrageous shades of nail polish, lipstick and powder. Make-up essentials take the names of far-flung, three-letter airport codes (duh!), and there’s even an “air o pac” airbrush make-up applicator (which rapidly sold out). Through cool collaborations like a partnership between avant garde clothing designer Bernhard Willhelm and DJ Busy P of Ed Banger records, founders Feride Uslu and Jan Mihm have kept the company as diverse as its shades of make-up. BULLETT sat down with co-founder Jan Mihm to talk about Uslu Airlines latest collection, TOR 11. For this collection, Uslu Airlines took an atypical approach, asking eleven men to choose what color they’d like to see on a woman’s lips. Creative approaches like this insure that the brand will stay a make-up go to.
